First floor remodel (kitchen, rear entrance, bathroom, add fireplace)
Met with homeowner’s to discuss desires.
They wanted us to design a kitchen that was fitting for the farmhouse design.
Creativity was needed to work within the limitations of the space.
This was one of the most challenging kitchen designs we have done. All corners were occupied (staircase in one corner, chimney in adjacent corner, butler pantry door in opposite corner, and rear entrance door was in the last corner).
To solve the problem, much thought was required. We relocated the stair entrance to the opposite side of the wall (which greatly improved that area as well). Creativity was still required to design the cabinetry providing clearances needed.
Redesign of space to maximize space needed to accomplish design goals.
Mechanical requirements analyzed to meet design needs.
Designed uses of cabinetry features to meet expectations.
