Walsh started the family business in 1976 with the encouragement of his father, an experienced freelance architect. The early years were filled with the many challenges and excitement of building a business, establishing a reputation, furthering corporate and trade skills. It was during these early stages that Mike made the decision to run his business with integrity and set example for his children to follow.

This meant making difficult decisions and doing the right thing even when it cost him to correct an error.

In 1995, when Mike’s children became involved in the company, the business was renamed Walsh Family Construction to more accurately reflect his goal for building a family-oriented business.

We’ve endeavored to make our business more than just a commercial enterprise, but to also do our work as if we were doing it for ourselves and build relationships with our customers by standing behind our work. We strive to uphold high standards for craftsmanship and treat our customer’s property with respect. Our customers are like our own family, and we feel honored to earn a client’s trust, and pledge to do our utmost to maintain it.
